This rig is made for boat fishing for whiting and haddock. When drifting, work the rig along the bottom by lifting and lowering every 15-30 sec, but remember that whiting and haddock can also be found well above the sea bed. Bait the hooks with shrimp or fish strips (finger size is good). They will take the bait hard and especially haddock will fight all the way,so it is important to have  tension on the line all the times.
